El Grifo
El Grifo is one of the oldest continuously operating wineries in the world, founded in 1775, but its true distinction lies in its continuity.
For over 250 years, the winery has adapted to volcanic landscapes, shifting climates and changing wine cultures, while maintaining a clear identity rooted in Lanzarote.

Mission
El Grifo preserves not only its vineyards, but also its original winery, archives and tools, offering a rare, tangible connection to the past.
This long-standing presence has created a deep, generational knowledge of viticulture in one of the world’s most extreme environments – knowledge that continues to shape the wines today.

Vision
El Grifo is not only a winery, but also a cultural and historical landmark of Lanzarote, with several beautifully curated museum spaces located on its property.
